(KTVI) – You think you know your dogs — a certain bark, a certain posture, a certain look. But did you know your dog can tell a lot about you as well? Veterinarian Dr. Stu Robson from Fox Creek Veterinary Hospital in Wildwood talks about what your dog might know about you.
1-Can a dog sense sadness?
New study-dogs did, in fact, approach people who appeared to be upset more often than those who weren’t-whether it was their owner or a stranger. They behaved in a way we would’ve expected if we interpreted it as empathy.
2. They know when you’re being unfair-to some extent.
Researchers found that when dogs saw other dogs getting treats for a trick they’d been performing unrewarded, the uncompensated dogs became visibly distressed
