Onion Recall Expanded; Products Sold in Missouri, Illinois

(STLMOMS) – There is a major recall involving onions.  GH Foods, a southern California grower and food processing firm, is recalling onion products because of a possible Listeria contamination.

The items were sold in Missouri and Illinois. The expanded list of recalled items include “Cool Creations” bean dips and salsas as well as diced, slivered and whole-peeled onions and diced onion and celery mix with “use by” dates on or before August 3rd.
