Teacher Fired Over Facebook Comment

(CNN) – A Florida elementary school teacher is accused of comparing one of her students to an animal in a Facebook post.

School officials say they stopped the online conversation, which now has been deleted. But, that’s not enough for the child’s mother.

The teacher allegedly referred to a child as an orangutang.
