(STLMoms) – It’s time to check your strollers. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says certain models of strollers made by Kolcraft have amputated and smashed fingers of young children and adults.

The victims had their fingers caught in the opening when locking and unlocking the hinge on the stroller.  This recall involves Kolcraft Contours Options, three-wheeled and four-wheeled strollers which were sold between January 2006 and June 2012. Strollers included in the recall have model numbers starting with ZL002, ZL005, ZL008, ZL015 and ZL018. On the ZL002 model, the model number and date of manufacture is printed on a sticker above the left wheel.

Consumers should call Kolcraft at 800-453-7673 between 7 a.m. and 5:45 p.m. CT Monday through Thursday and 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. CT on Friday for more information.
