(BBC) – For the first time, U.S. researchers have decoded the genome of fetus. The researcher took a blood sample from the mother and a saliva sample from the father.  The findings were reported in Science Translational Medicine. This could lead to a big breakthrough in fighting diseases and genetic abnormalities before a child is born.
